The Wedding That Turned a Bride’s Vision Into a Beautiful Friendship

Kaely & Justin — Fullerton Hotel, December 2024

From the very beginning, we could tell that Kaely had a very clear vision of her dream wedding.

She is the kind of bride who knows exactly what she wants — thoughtful, detail-oriented, and wonderfully Type A in all the best ways. And because of that, we knew this was the kind of wedding where every little detail had to be handled carefully, with nothing slipping through the cracks. True enough, what meant the most to her was our attention to detail. She told us she felt she could fully rely on us to run the day for her and represent her well, and that kind of trust is never something we take lightly.

But beyond the planning itself, what ended up being most memorable was helping their entourage learn the second march-in dance.

Like many working adults, their entourage were busy, and it was difficult to gather everyone beforehand for proper dance rehearsals. As a side note, this is honestly something we always tell couples — if you want to include a dance segment, keep the moves simple. A few easy steps to set the vibe will always go a longer way than something overly complicated that ends up stressing everyone out.

Knowing Kaely’s personality, she had already done her part. She sent a video to the entourage ahead of time for them to learn four simple moves before the big day. But as expected — and somehow also not surprising at all — little to none of them had actually watched it, so everyone arrived at rehearsal completely unprepared.

That was when we stepped in.

We watched the video, learned the moves together with the entourage, and guided them through it on the spot. And that is probably why there ended up being so many mini rehearsals throughout the day — before the banquet began, outside the doors right before the second march-in, and even during the actual segment itself, where our hype girl stood in front of the stage to guide them along in real time.

And honestly, it was so much fun.

It was one of those unexpected moments that reminded us that coordination is not always just about timelines and logistics. Sometimes, it is also about stepping into the energy of the day, supporting the people around the couple, and doing whatever it takes to bring a vision to life in a way that still feels joyful.

Because of this wedding, we also gained something even more special. We knew Kaely was our kind of person, and she eventually became the very first graduated bride to join Pei.weddings. Till today, she continues to speak highly of us to her friends — especially after seeing firsthand how we work behind the scenes and how much heart goes into what we do.

Fate has a funny way of bringing people together, and this was one of those weddings that left us with more than just a successful day. It gave us a real friendship, and that is something we will never take for granted.
